In memoriam
Og
(Tony Perry)
1956 - 2009
OUR DEAR MATE Og .
Aka (but refusing to answer to) - Tony Perry.
In our Chapter's 20th anniversary year we bid farewell to one of the originals.
Sadly, and despite the desperate efforts of some of his closest mates to revive him, Og passed away this weekend (June 21) after a massive cardiac arrest.
Og is 53 years old.
For those of us fortunate enough to have known Og our lives will continue to be touched by his memory. For those less fortunate – Og’s spirit is captured in his smile and the affection that his mates have for him. The yarns about his riding and adventures will be told and repeated for a long time to come.
In the meantime here are a few pics to enjoy.

Og was one of the club's earliest members going back 20 years, and is believed to be among the founding members.
Everyone who knew Og and anyone who ever had simply met him was influenced by him.
He was loved by family and friends, and respected by all.

Og was buried at the Goonellabah cemetery on Saturday 27th June 2009, among trees by a campfire in a classic bush setting --
- just where he would have wanted to be.
Og - in our hearts, your campfire will never go out.
