Drake Big Day Out 19-9-09

WPAC helicopter fundraiser run

A beautifully fine day .....

..... and our fairly large group of 17 bikes and around 25 (human) hogs gathered at

Seaside Motorcycles, Ballina.

Our destination? .........

......... Drake Hotel, in support of the WPAC

rescue helicopter fundraiser.

                                 There was a very large crowd  -

  - who were (mostly)

                                                                         very friendly .....

There were lots of bikes -

   - and many stalls, selling the usual

   from clothing to trinkets ....

   .... and the usual food and drinks.

             Vintage cars .....

                                  ..... even if they are a little bit

     souped up   

                      The SES were there .....

  ..... and

kids were well catered for with games

and stuff - like jelly-wrestling (believe it)

   ..... hmmm

                                  A very interesting looking trailer

And our publican friend Bob had a few new exhibits in his bar bike collection -

- did you see old Triumph courtesy of BikeWorx .... ?

        Some of us left early, some later

..... but all in all, it was a very nice Big Day Out.
