Chapter elects new Committee at 2012 AGM Sunday, 11 December 2011
At its AGM held on Sunday 11th December 2011 the Northern NSW Chapter of HOG elected an (almost) new Committee to see the Chapter through 2012. A unanimous vote of thanks was passed for the work done by the outgoing Committee, with a special vote of thanks with acclamation going to retiring editor Mick Kell. Mick has been the editor of the Chapter newsletter for many years, and has stamped a personal style on a greatly improved publication. His position has been taken by Tom Koch. However, Mick is not gone completely - he's been 'appointed' Assistant Editor. It is pleasing to report that Mick (and his bike) won first prize in the Touring Class in the Show n' Shine at the Margaret River WA 2011 National Rally. Congratulations, Mick.! (No doubt we'll hear more of that in an upcoming newsletter.) Mike Davis has retired as Director to concentrate on University studies and is replaced by former Assistant Director John Hoye. Several new faces are on the new Committee and we look forward to their fresh input. The new Ladies of Harley Officer is Jo Pink, and Waz is the Safety Officer and a Road Captain. Chris Davis will be the Assistant Secretary, and the Road Captains are Graham Waller, Ron Pinxteren, Jack Hughes, Garry Pane and Wazza. This has not been a easy year for the Club (or for some of its members), but we look forward to 2012 with hope and determination.
